Last Sunday, Bishop Maurice did baptisms in a lake about 5
kilometers or 3 miles (ish) away from the church.  We named the lake, “Lake Hippoâ€, because at dusk all the
hippos are there.  I was baptized
there!! I’ve never been baptized before and everything about the situation
seemed perfect.  A lot of my
relationship with the Lord has been inward and I felt ready to express that love
publicly.  The Bishop decided to
tell us on the spot that we had to give a short testimony.  Although I have told people separately
my testimony, that was the first time I got up in front of a crowd and talked
about my walk with the Lord. Bishop did an amazing sermon about the purpose and
significance of baptism and it truly was a special day for me.
